About me

I am a 30-something stay-at-home Mum who had no idea about feeding people with food allergies before my children came along. It has been a hard road with lots of stumbles along the way but I now feel like I am coping pretty well. This blog has really helped me get my thoughts together as well as remember what I cook and what worked well. My aim in writing this blog is to provide a resource for myself and for anyone else affected by food allergies.

Before having kids I studied at university and worked as a physiotherapist with children with disabilities. I have been happily married for almost 9 years and our family love and serve Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. We attend an independent evangelical community church in Perth.

I have 3 children (5, 3 and 0). They are all thriving and apart from their allergies and asthma (for Mr 5), they are in full health most of the time. They are within normal limits for weight and height. Such a relief and a reward for working so hard to feed them well. I thank God for them every day.
